Secured localization services

It is well known that the weak signals transmitted by current GNSS (GPS, Galileo, Beidou, Glonass) are subject to jamming, interference and spoofing attacks and may not always provide the Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) quality of service that is required for many critical applications (e.g., energy, banking, transport infrastructures or even self-driving cars and drones).

Fortunately, thanks to SpacePNT technology and algorithms, a LEO constellation can be turned into a PNT provider (or GNSS backup), delivering enhanced services (in terms of security, precision and resilience), without expensive ground support infrastructure for orbits determination/clock estimation.
Example of LEO-PNT and LEO-based telecommunication constellations applications:
  • Support for 5G and Beyond-5G networks
  • Enhanced mobile broadband
  • Massive machine-type communications (IoT)
  • Ultra-reliable communications (low latency)
  • Provision of resilient PNT services (or GNSS backup)
